Clubs & Groups

Club 50

The Club 50 is an innovative, not for profit organisation, providing entertainment for the residents of North Stainley and wider community, with the aim of raising funds to support good causes. The Club is open to all adults in the village and parish and meets on the first Thursday of every month at the North Stainley Village Hall from 7:30 p.m.

Club evenings consist of a meal, coffee and entertainment, usually in the form of music, guest speaker or a quiz, together with a raffle to raise additional funds. The Club 50 funds have provided support for a wide range of groups and individuals, with the emphasis on the children and young people of the community, as well as supporting some notable overseas projects.

We welcome members from all walks of life and all ages. You don’t have to be over 50 to join! Which is a common misconception!! Club 50 membership costs £50 per annum for a couple (this is where the Club’s name comes from) or £25 for a single membership. The costs to attend an evening are £10 per head, which includes the entertainment, meal, coffee and biscuits; raffle tickets are available at £1 each. A bar is not provided, but members are welcome to bring their own drinks, wine, beer, the choice is yours.

We look forward to you joining us where you will find a warm welcome, entertainment and the opportunity to socialise, all in the aid of good causes.
