The Main Hall
The hall is an excellent open space for any event and is ideal for celebrations (christenings, birthdays, weddings), music & theatre productions (a stage, sound and lighting system are available), fitness & sport classes, and larger meetings & events amongst other uses.
The hall is fully licensed, free internet access is available and the hall has direct access to kitchen facilities & accessible toilets, one of which has baby changing facilities. A hearing loop system is also in place.
At the rear of the hall, french windows open up on to a veranda which gives excellent views over the cricket pitch, recreation ground and wider village.
The Main Hall is 18 metres by 9 metres and will accommodate up to 150 people standing, 120 seated theatre-style or 100 at tables.
The Meeting Room
The multi-functional room is ideal for meetings, lectures, and smaller social & recreational gatherings.
The room can be accessed separately from the Main Hall, or can be hired and accessed as an additional room when hiring the Main Hall.
A generously sized room with an open aspect overlooking the cricket pitch, recreation ground and wider village.
The meeting room is fully licensed, free internet access is available and the meeting room has direct access to kitchen facilities & an accessible toilet.
The Meeting Room is 5 metres by 5 metres and will accommodate up to 25 people theatre-style or 16 at tables.
Additional Facilties
The Kitchen
The Hall has a large kitchen equipped to full catering standards, and a full range of glassware, crockery & cutlery, as well as table linen, is also available.
There is a large serving hatch between the Kitchen and Main Hall which can also function as a bar.
The Changing Rooms
There are are two full sized changing rooms with showers, accessible toilets and direct access to the recreation ground.
The Changing Rooms can be hired independently of the Main Hall and Meeting Room.
Location & Parking
The Hall can be reached on foot using the paths around the village recreation ground.
Vehicle access is via Watermill Lane. Arriving from Ripon, take the first road on the right (between ponds), follow the road for 400 metres, cross a small humpback bridge and turn immediately left into The Square (one-way system). The main entrance to the Hall is ahead of you.
There is free parking for 28 cars, including two disabled spaces at the front of the building.Further parking for 60+ cars is also available by prior arrangement.
